"I went with a 50:50 mix of General Finishes Snow White and Antique White Milk Paint. I first started with two coats of their new Stain Blocker (which I absolutely love, by the way). It sands nicely and covers beautifully. The sides and drawers only needed 4 coats of the custom mix. That may sound like a lot, but I sand in between each coat which does remove some of the paint. I like for my finishes to be silky smooth and have found sanding is the key to that process. The top, on the other...

"Love your stains. Recently did a dresser in an Annie Sloan mix but the top is the show stopper. I created a faux burl effect with a couple of your stains. It worked out fabulously. I used the water-based Orange Dye Stain first, then proceeded to use Candlelite and Java Gel Stains to aid in the burl effect!" - Tammy Sue of The Uppity

"I mixed General Finishes Coastal Blue with Emerald Green, and while I was going for a dark teal, it came out more like a Hunter Green. Which was still so pretty and really compliments the wood tones. I watered down the paint about 50/50, and brushed it on just like I was painting, but a thinner coat. Once dry, I sanded heavily with 80 or 120 grit paper. It left it looking pretty scratchy, so everything got a coat of High Performance Poly in flat finish. It gives it a really pretty shine, and...
